Built by HR operators, for HR operators
Texlaculture HRMS is a platform shaped by years of real HR operations across Indian companies. Our team is a mix of HR practitioners, payroll specialists, and engineers — every product decision is informed by what actually happens inside an Indian HR function on a Monday morning.
Last updated: June 2026Our story
Texlaculture started from a frustration that anyone who has run HR in an Indian company will recognise. The mid-market had a binary choice: either run payroll and compliance through a patchwork of spreadsheets and accountants, or commit to an enterprise HCM rollout that took quarters to go live and required dedicated implementation partners most growing companies could not justify.
We believed there was room for a third option — a modern, AI-aware HRMS that takes the Indian context seriously from day one, ships fast, and is honest about pricing and scope. Texlaculture HRMS is the result of that belief, built by a team that had felt the pain firsthand.
Our people are a mix: HR practitioners who have processed real Indian payroll runs, payroll specialists who know what a PF inspector actually asks for, product designers, and engineers. That mix is deliberate. It is also why our roadmap reads like an HR team's wishlist rather than a software vendor's feature catalogue.
What we believe
Six product principles guide the decisions we make every week. They are written down because they have to survive contact with hard trade-offs.
- HR software should ship a sane India default. Out of the box, Texlaculture should already know how PF, ESI, PT and TDS work. Configuration is for the exceptions, not for the basics.
- Compliance is not a feature — it is the floor. A payroll product that gets statutory filings wrong is broken, full stop. Compliance accuracy is not something we charge extra for.
- AI in HR must keep a human in the loop on consequential decisions. We use AI to summarise, surface, and assist — not to silently make hiring, performance, or termination calls.
- Implementation is measured in weeks, not quarters. A single-entity company should be live within one payroll cycle. Multi-entity rollouts take longer, but they should never need to be a year-long project.
- Pricing transparency on demand. We do not publish a per-seat tier on the website, but you should get a real number on the first scoping call, not after a procurement dance.
- Customer data belongs to the customer. Period. Your data is exportable, deletable, and never repurposed for any use other than running your HRMS.
How we work with customers
Our engagement model is intentionally short and structured:
- Pre-sales scoping: a 30 to 60 minute call where we walk through your headcount, entities, salary structures, and modules of interest. You leave with a clear quote and a realistic implementation timeline.
- Fast-track implementation: for single-entity customers, a documented one-month rollout aimed at running the first live payroll inside Texlaculture.
- Dedicated rollout team: during implementation you work with the same named consultant, not a queue. We sit alongside your HR team through the first month-end close.
- Post-go-live support: handover to ongoing email and chat support, with response SLAs in writing and an escalation path that is a real person at Texlaculture, not a ticket queue.
